Who is this for
Because of my belief in building a comprehensive base for all my students, this newsletter will cover tech and software engineering from various sectors. Whether you’re looking to level up your Computer Science, ace your interviews at big tech companies, progress in your career, or are somebody interested in learning more about the industry, this newsletter will have something for you.
Let’s face it, tech is everywhere. Even if you’re not a software engineer, you have to know the basics. This newsletter is the perfect place to learn those basics in a clean and efficient manner. All my content comes with free online resources you can use to learn more about topics and ideas, and detailed action guides to learn in the best possible way.
How It Works
Technology Made Simple is a daily newsletter designed to make you better at programming and software engineering, with the focus of getting you your dream job. Thus we will go over all the important aspects of your coding interview. Follow our proven system, and you will succeed.
PS- I have finished all the meaningful Leetcode questions, so Wednesdays and Thursdays are now on a per-request basis. If a reader shares a question/I come across something interesting, I cover it. Otherwise, those days are off.
Why this newsletter is built to help you succeed.
Technology Made Simple was created using techniques developed through my proven track record of mentoring people with their interviews. It will help you ace your FAANG/MAMAA (and other Software Engineering) interviews by helping you improve in all the pillars you need to tackle to succeed in your interviews.
As you can see, this newsletter not only gives you the tools to ace your coding interviews but also develops all the relevant skills you need to thrive in your career as a coder. To learn more about each of these factors, and how they can help you, read the following article

Frequently Asked Questions
Who are you? What makes you special?
Maybe you’re not convinced by the reviews shared earlier. Fair enough, your time is important and money doesn’t grow on trees. I can make a laundry list of my accomplishments, but that doesn’t mean that this service will be any good. So instead I will link a few articles that explain my system and preparation tips. Articles-
The 4 step method my students use to maximize Leetcode Problems and ace their FAANG Interviews
How to Design your Mock Interview Answers to nail your FAANG interviews
If you want to know more about my expertise beyond that, just google me. Search “Devansh Machine Learning”. The non-ads are my content. Feel free to take a look, and verify my abilities for yourself. I also link all my content/social media in every post, so you can always just take a look there.
Will this help me with preparing for Google/Meta/FAANG/Goldmann Sachs/Any other big company?
Every single question given to you has been asked in an actual interview from a top-tier company. I will not shy away from more difficult questions in order to make sure you are not underprepared for your interview. With the subscription, you'll get an in-depth explanation and solution for each problem the day after you receive the question. The newsletter will not only improve your technical knowledge, but has helped students improve their communication and helped them become more organized when solving problems.
If I'm subscribed to the free version of Technology Made Simple and I upgrade, can I see the previous paid posts?
Absolutely! When you subscribe you'll get access to all the previous content. No additional pesky paywalls. You can even search for any specific topics you want to learn about. Just head to the archives and search away.
Is Coding Interview Made Simple really worth it?
Let’s run some numbers. Trust me, it will be fun
The typical compensation for someone with no experience working at Google/Meta/FAANG/Goldmann Sachs/Any other big company = $150,000 in total compensation (as in, base salary, bonus, and equity).
Improvement after using this newsletter for 6 months: 25% (based on the results, this is a massive understatement)
Salary w/o this newsletter: $80,000 (typical dev salary).
Then you've paid $60 for an expected value of $17,500 (($150,000 - $80,000) * 25%), which is a return on investment of almost 300 times! You tell me if you think that’s worth it. Or you can lookk at the experience of a student below:
Are there any guarantees that the service will work? What is the refund policy?
I understand that sometimes, purchases just don’t work out. I also have a lot of confidence that this newsletter will deliver a lot of value to you. So much confidence, that I have a guaranteed satisfaction policy.
What does this mean? If within your first 60 days, you’re not happy with this service, I will refund all your money, no questions asked. All you have to do is message me/email me/let me know by carrier pigeon. And you get your money back. It’s that simple.
This is the only major interview preparation service that offers such a deal. Above, you can see AlgoExpert offers no refunds, “under any circumstance”. Below is Leetcode’s (lack of) refund policy
Will you work with me personally?
Yep. Subs can always reach out to me personally using one of my links below. You can use them to give me feedback, clarify any doubts or concerns, or share resources. I also conduct mock interviews and help people with tailor their plans according to their specific needs/strengths.
I don't have a computer science degree. Should I still subscribe to Technology Made Simple?
Whether you're self-taught, a student/recent grad, currently in a coding boot camp, or a full-time engineer, you are absolutely fit for Technology Made Simple. Don’t forget we will cover all the relevant basics throughout the newsletter, from theoretical foundations to system design, to even career advice and industry trends.
Throughout the solutions, I will explain whatever background information you need. I will also regularly share amazing resources you can use to further improve yourself. No subscriber of mine will be underprepared for their interviews. Read about How I helped a non-Computer Science student nail a FAANG software dev job here.
Why not LeetCode/Cracking the Coding Interview/AlgoExpert/any other resource?
None of them are written by me :). I’m sure those are great products too, but most people who reach out to me have tried those resources and failed. They’re also created specifically for Leetcode Style interviews, which aren’t applicable to success in tech as a field. My work is for people building a career in tech, whether as a software developer, manager, or one of the many people involved in the tech industry. This newsletter will give you a much deeper appreciation of the industry, and help you win professionally.
Technology Made Simple is made to give you the most bang for your buck. And the reviews agree with me.
How long should I spend solving each problem?
The longest it should take you is one hour. However, in most questions, 20-30 mins should be plenty. Remember, interviews are normally 45 minutes long and if you can solve multiple problems, you will be regarded highly.
How do I unsubscribe?
If you'd like to unsubscribe, hopefully, it's because you've landed your dream job and no longer need to practice for interviews. Substack makes unsubbing very easy.
What topics are covered?
Computer Science is a large area that we can pick from. However, the topics will be chosen with a distribution that's more aligned with what you get in the actual interviews. Following topics will be covered:
Linked Lists, Stacks, and Queues
Blockchain and Crypto Currency
Tech Venture Capital
Math for Computer Science
Heaps
Trees
Graphs
Randomized Algorithms
Functional Algorithms
Dynamic Programming and Backtracking
Arrays
Boolean Algebra
Number systems manipulation
Strings
Bit Manipulation
Object-Oriented Design
Networking and Distributed Systems
Systems Design
What language are your solutions in?
I use Python. In my experience, it's the best language to use for interviews, as it's well-known and very similar to pseudocode. A lot of the data structures and functionalities are simple to call. Not having to worry about syntax/pesky implementation details saves you a lot of time in the interview.
However, I can use other languages like Javascript, Java, and C if you want additional help with them. Just message me, and I can convert the solutions
